Series one, episode two. In this episode Kier, James and Dave get stuck into the substance of our topic for the first time by asking some very obvious but important questions... so what is the Gospel? Why is it relevant? What is the condition of our culture today? How does it meet humanity's needs? And what impact does it have on the lives of those who accept the message as true?

Series one, episode three.
It’s time to introduce our first special guest. All the way from Norway, we are joined by Arne Skagen, who is not only a good friend to us as a church, having spent lots of time with us over the years, but is also an evangelist. In this episode, Arne shares his story, how he became a Christian, some of the subsequent adventure of his relationship with the Holy Spirit and how his understanding of the role of God’s Church as a missional body of people has grown over the years.

Although Arne doesn’t actively plug his book in this episode, we certainly will! Thank God It’s Monday is a fantastic resource that we have used in All Nations for small group equipping, teaching, and just as a recommendation to individuals. It touches on many of the things that Arne shares in this podcast, providing some really simple principles on how to grow in your relationship with the Holy Spirit and therefore your ability to witness. Series one, episode four. Back to the studio this week with Kier, James and Dave as they talk about the place of prayer in mission. Prayer is central to the Christian life, but so often we it difficult to know how to or what to pray. In this episode, we find that we are in good company! The disciples asked Jesus to teach them, because they didn’t know how to pray. In this episode our three hosts dive into the Scriptures, tell some stories, and share how they are learning to pray concerning God’s heart for the whole world.

If you want to keep growing in your prayer life, here are some resources below. The messages from Dave Shutt were part of our “Adventures in Acts” series, which James references in this episode. The other resources are not directly mentioned but we would recommend as really helpful tools for growth.

Series one, episode five. In this episode Dave and Kier ask James to zoom in on the ways in which Jesus reached people and how we can learn from the master to do the same. In exploring the Gospels and watching how Jesus went about his mission, we realise that he models an incredibly simple way of life that absolutely anyone can follow. Jesus’ grand plan to reach the world boiled down to this: spend time with people and build friendships. At some point for every believer throughout history, God sent someone they knew to share his love with them. This episode is all about how we can do that for others by building friendships that are open, honest, and missional.  Below are some links to the people and resources mentioned in today’s episode.

Series one, episode six. This week we pick-up where we left-off last time, continuing to focus on how Jesus went about making disciples. Kier and Dave are joined by Terence “T” Erlenbach, who is not only an elder in All Nations but a recognised pastor too. T shares with us the motivation for reaching out and how Jesus demonstrates an entire way of life in which we are to follow, not just preaching the Gospel, but inviting others into our life to experience it. This episode then gets really practical as T shares how we can make changes in our own lives so that we can better express the love of God to others.

One of the resources T talked about before the episode was the Instagram feed of a lady in the USA called Melissa Hughes. She is part of a church we work with in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has some posts on everyday mission ideas and conversations starters: https://www.instagram.com/melissaleahughes/?hl=en

Tim is a recognised evangelist and a lot of his time is spent travelling around the UK to churches that we are connected with, equipping them to reach out. In this episode, Tim shares some of his story and the things that he is currently teaching on his travels. He encourages us to immerse ourselves in relationship with Jesus and see how our witness overflows from that growing passion.
